It was me. But it wasn't a drive by. I hung around to comment.

No one is suggesting in any way that "all public sector jobs be eliminated". So who is "going over the top here"? However any reasonable observer can see without a royal commission that we are WAY over governed and WAY over staffed both federally and provincially. Every penny spent on public salaries in excess of basic requirements is an unnecessary draw on resources and hence NOT a net contribution. For both your sake as well as EK, please refer once again to the cookie analogy by BlueRobbin. That is not to say we don’t need public sector workers, it is to say the losses to the revenue cookie jar are huge when we hire too many and pay too much. This is a major reason why private sector contractors commonly get the job done far more efficiently. To go over the top with your logic, why don’t we all work for the government? It would solve the unemployment situation right? And we would all pay taxes right? Wow! Problem solved.

You just keep on drinking that koolaid. Since it is obvious you don't care much about or even use your brain, feel free to simply regurgitate the nonesense as spouted by Sid Ryan or Buzz Hargrove. Your choice. But with that much koolaid, diabetes is a major concern.
ATTACK ON TAX PAYERS

Public Service Unions need to show a little mercy on the lowly taxpayer. Give us a break. Really.
