As each day passes citizens of Ontario are feeling the effects of the Federal and Ontario governments failure of leadership. These governments are not doing the job.
Mr Williams comments are speaking to what happens when governments follow the “trickle down theory”, tax cuts for big corporation, austerity schemes, thwarting value add to exported resources and the hurtful changes to Employment Insurance and on and on. To hear and see the Federal governments “Economic Action Plan” advertisements in the face of continuously rising welfare statistics in Muskoka is disgusting. To know Parry Sound-Muskoka faces some of the highest unemployment in the province and witness our federal Representative hiding behind Tweets, scrambling for photo ops and pretending Fed Nor dollars are creating the degree of economic activity Parry Sound-Muskoka really needs is farce. We need change that puts people first.
