Rosie MacLennan wins gold medal at Olympics

Rosie MacLennan has won Canada's first gold medal at the London 2012 Olympic Games in the trampoline.
MacLennan, of King City, had to wait for three competitors to find out the colour of her medal. As it turned out, teammate Karen Cockburn of Stouffville finished fourth.
In the trampoline preliminary competition in the 2008 Olympic Games Beijing, MacLennan qualified in third place for the finals but eventually finished in seventh.
The 23-year-old won the Canadian national women's title in 2005, 2009 and 2011.
Canada's most decorated athlete in the sport of trampoline, Cockburn had been looking for a record fourth straight Olympic medal to add to a collection that already includes bronze from 2000 and silver from 2004 and 2008.
