Gravenhurst Minor Ball looks forward to next season
Gravenhurst Minor Ball wrapped up for another year Wednesday night.
Though the three teams were competing for first place, they didn’t lose their sportsmanship in the races and the golden glove competition between the two games. The teams cheered each other on as they rounded the bases in the race and tried to catch the ball in the catching competition.
The competitions took place between the two games of the evening while the teams rested for the second game.
The event followed a barbecue, which was well attended by parents and fans who stayed to watch the games.
The 7- to 14-year-olds are looking forward to their third season next year and are anticipating more players so they can divide the teams by age.
