QUEBEC -- It was no surprise that Kristina Vaculik of Whitby, a 19-year-old gymnast from Gemini Gymnastics, was officially named to Canada’s Olympic gymnastics team on June 28 in Gatineau. Vaculik competed on the beam during the second competition portion of the Olympic trials. She was an early favourite, and held on to her lead through the competition. June 28, 2012
