The YMCA in Gravenhurst was shut down last weekend, not once but twice.
The first evacuation took place Saturday, March 3, when the building — along with large parts of Gravenhurst — was left without power due to a windstorm.
The facility was closed for several hours.
On Sunday, activities were back to normal until the fire alarm rang.
“On Sunday the fire alarm was accidently pulled and once again we evacuated the premises,” said spokesperson Tara Gregor. “It only took ten minutes on Sunday, a false alarm.”
