Plow wiht courtesy for taxpayers, reader suggests

(This letter was sent to Seguin Township Mayor David Conn and councillors, and a copy was provided to the North Star for publication.)
Mayor David Conn and councillors,
Yesterday afternoon when I wanted to go out, I could not, as the snowplow had left half a street of solid slush and snow in my driveway entrance, while cutting the snow banks down.
Since we are asked not to push snow on the roads, as it prevents cleaning the roads for the crews, with heavy snowplows, I am asking you to instruct your snowplow drivers to omit dumping all that heavy stuff in people’s driveways.
They can lift the blades just before passing a driveway, and lower them when passed.
I think this would be a courtesy toward you taxpayers and seniors.

Theresa Bondrager
Seguin Township
