November is Foundation month and all Rotary Clubs will be working hard to promote the Foundation’s extensive programs. The Rotary Foundation is the engine that drives Rotary’s international humanitarian service. Without the Foundation, many of Rotary’s signature programs would not exist. There would be no Polio Plus, no humanitarian grants, no Ambassadorial Scholarships or no Rotary World Peace Fellowships.
Perhaps the greatest achievement of Rotary’s first century has been Polio Plus. It is only a matter of time before Polio is eradicated forever, thanks to the Foundation and all its’ health partners.
Polio Plus will serve as Rotary’s lasting legacy to the world’s children.
It’s a basic principle of Rotary that we can do much more together, than we could ever do alone. The Rotary Foundation allows us to pool our resources, help each other, and thereby reach heights of service that would be simply unattainable otherwise. The Rotary Foundation will continue to touch millions of lives and alleviate needless suffering.
The generosity and support that Rotary receives from its’ communities allows us to make a positive impact not only locally but worldwide. This support is very much appreciated.
