Remembering Carol Cascanette

Carol was one of the most dedicated people I have ever met. Her commitment to her family was unconditional.
No matter what challenge she was presented with, she never gave up hope.
She always seemed to find the best in any situation.
Her commitment to nature translated into caring for every living creature. She used her love for art to help the rest of us understand the importance of nature in our lives.
Carol loved and was committed to Killbear Provincial Park, where, over the years every summer, she introduced hundreds, if not thousands, of children and their parents to the world of drawing and painting nature.
She served as a founding, and ongoing member of the Friends of Killbear Board of Directors, and spent over a dozen years ensuring the success of the Nature Shoppe.
Carol leaves a void that will never be filled, but our hearts will overflow with joy every time we think of her.
Thank you Carol, for bringing us hope and joy and may you rest in peace.

Thomas Shultz
Founding president
Friends of Killbear
