I am lucky to live in Huntsville.
In November I had done some errands in the Huntsville Place Mall. Upon returning to my car, there was a note stuck under my windshield wiper. It said, “the person who hit your car, this is their licence number.” Sure enough there was the evidence and damage on my car. I reported it to the police. Long story short, person was found, car was fixed. Thank you to the individual who took the time to leave the note. This is why I feel lucky. We live in a town that cares for their neighbours. We haven’t grown too big that we look the other way. This was the second time in as many months that my car was hit (the first time the individual stayed and waited until I returned to my car). My husband says ‘get rid of the car.’ I say no. I am lucky… I wasn’t in it!
