It doesn’t matter what denomination you are, or whether you attend a religious institution or not, the churches in our community and the people who form their congregations have helped support our morale fiber for decades.
In fact, Parry Sound Pentecostal Tabernacle has strengthened the area for a century.
Whether it’s pooling contributions with other area churches to ensure healthy meals and housing for the impoverished, caring for fellow congregation members amid tragedy, or simply bringing like-minded residents together for solace and celebration, for 100 years Parry Sound Pentecostal Tabernacle has made a difference.
In fact, the church has made a difference beyond our borders, as members travel overseas to help communities that need it the most. Multiply our community’s Pentecostal Church by hundreds of the same denomination. Add thousands of churches of other denominations, and their millions of congregation members across the country, and just try to comprehend the amount of compassionate good being done in small towns, large cities, nationally and across the globe.
Congratulations to members of Parry Sound Pentecostal Tabernacle, past and present, in celebrating 100 years. And let that congratulations be carried to all people, of all faiths, in our community who do so much, for so little reward, to ensure we live in one of the best places on the planet.
