The Ladies Auxiliary’s next general meeting will be held on March 20, at 7 p.m. During the past year we have been holding dinner meetings, and this has proven to be very successful.
The dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. at a cost of $8 per person.
Each month we patronize different local restaurants that deliver our meals to the branch for us to enjoy. It provides our members an opportunity to socialize before the start of the meeting.
Why not give it a try? We would be pleased to have you join us. The menu for this month is pizza (different varieties) and caesar salad from Pizzaville.
Mark your calendars for our upcoming Spring Bazaar on March 23 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be a bake table - including home made meat pies, raffle table, white elephant table and the ever popular penny table. You can also enjoy a delicious soup/sandwich and dessert luncheon for just $5.
We applaud artist, Jean McKeown-Piitz, who has been a member of the Ladies Auxiliary since 1952.
This year, as has been the case for many years, she is generously donating a 16-inch by 20-inch painting depicting a Georgian Bay scene. The painting is entitled Summer Breeze and you can purchase your tickets at the bazaar.
That’s all the news for this month! If you have any Ladies’ Auxiliary news please call Doreen Veilleux at 705-746-8456 or e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
