Get ready for the 11th annual Great Potato Bash

Kathryn’s Cove Pottery will be holding a hand building a patchwork bowl pottery class on Saturday, March 9 at the community centre in Orrville starting at 9:30 a.m. and running until noon.  This is for person’s age 15 years and up and the cost is $25.  For more information or to register call Kathryn at 705-732-1479 or e-mail kathrnscover@hughes.net

The 11th annual Great Baked Potato Bash is coming up on March 23 at the Foley Agricultural Hall, 60 Rankin Lake Road.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. and supper is served at 5 p.m.  Live entertainment will be supplied by Third Change.  The cost is $13 for adults, $6 for children 4 to 12 years of age, and toddlers eat for free.  There are only 250 tickets available, so reserve yours early.

The 295 Air Cadet Squadron have started their Recycling program.  Please bring us your old printer cartridges, cellphones, laptops and old digital cameras.  Drop off is Georgian Bay Software on Gibson Street.
This is a fundraising event for the Parry Sound Air Cadets and we appreciate your assistance.
Next movie night in Rosseau will be Friday, March 8, featuring the movie Shark Tale.
The movie starts at 7 p.m. at the Rosseau Memorial Hall.  
Present your Library card or your Rosseau Lake North Association membership and admission is half price - $2.50; regular cost is $5.  
Coming up on Friday, March 22 The Hobbit – An Unexpected Journey and on Friday, April 5 Cirque du Soleil – World Away. Everyone is welcome.
Flip ahead on your calendar and make sure you have Saturday, Aug. 24 marked for the Parry Sound Anglers & Hunters first annual Gun Show.  This event will feature vendors from all over the province and will be held at the Bobby Orr Community Centre (on the ice surface).  Stay tuned for more details.

All Seguin libraries are now offering computer lessons until the end of March. We have four great students to assist you in whatever you need to learn about using computers, e-readers, digital cameras, et cetera.
