Committee needs new members

HUNTSVILLE – Huntsville’s accessibility advisory committee is looking for volunteers.
Debbie Kirwin, committee chair, said during a Jan. 28 council meeting that the committee was looking for members.
“Whether you have a disability or not, whether you have a family member with a disability or not, or you have a friend with a disability or not, we’re looking for living, breathing volunteers to sit on our committee,” said Kirwin.
The committee discusses accessibility within the municipality and advises town council on accessibility matters.
Those interested in applying for a committee position can contact Tanya Calleja at the Town of Huntsville by calling 705-789-1751 ext. 2255 or visiting the town’s website at www.huntsville.ca for a copy of the application form. The form can be found online in the town hall section under forms, applications and licenses.
