Victory School closed for the day

PARRY SOUND – The Near North District School Board has closed Victory School for the day, Tuesday, Nov. 20, after a carbon monoxide alarm sounded.
Buses have been rerouted to Parry Sound High School, where the students will remain with their teachers until they can be picked up by parents. Students who aren't picked up will remain at the high school until the end of the school day, when they will take regular buses home, according to the school board.
Parents of the students were contacted by phone, and the Near North board will send out updates through local media throughout the day.
