The water in Three Mile Lake is not drinkable because of a blue-green algae, the Ministry of Natural Resources said in a press release.
There is no concern for well water, but if anyone is drawing water from a surface supply where algae is evident they should find another water source. Boiling or other home treatment devices will not destroy the toxins.
