The Ministry of Labour is investigating after receiving reports that a worker fell from collapsed scaffolding at a property near Bracebridge Public School early this week.
Ministry spokesman Matt Blajer said a ministry investigator was sent to an address on McMurray Street near the school shortly before 9 a.m. on Monday, June 25.
Local police were dispatched to the call at around 8 a.m.
“We have only the report. It was reported to us by a caller that a scaffolding collapsed, and a worker fell and was taken to hospital,” he said.
As the investigation is ongoing, details on any injuries cannot be confirmed.
