MacTier Arena Hall is back with fall-winter activities in full swing. However, the arena ice schedule is not slated to start rentals until November 1. Ice plant start-up is mid-October.
This is due to not many rentals coming in and cutbacks.
Turning to the MacTier Curling Club, it is hoped to start ice plant sometime after Thanksgiving weekend providing cooler weather arrives.
Curling activities then hopefully will be on the go by the end of first week of November. Get those brooms warmed up.
That’s it for this week, drive safely and take care.
