Darts starting soon

Dunchurch News

Summer vacation is over for our local students and they are all back at school this week.
Be sure to watch for school busses and more kids around the high school.  I hope everyone had a great summer and made lots of new memories of the hot weather to help keep us warm this coming winter.
The Whitestone and Area Horticulture Society is holding a general meeting and Flower Show today, Wednesday, September 5 at 7 p.m. in the Dunchurch Community Centre. Guest speaker Ann Bossart is speaking on sustainable gardening, a topic that is important to us all. Dues are due at $7 for the year – a small fee for enjoying the guest and member speakers, flower, plant and photo shows and a whole lot of information. If you love or are interested in gardening, come as a guest and you may leave as a member.
Remember that walk fit starts today, Wednesday, Sept. 5 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. in the Dunchurch Community Centre and runs most every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
The Dunchurch Agricultural Society is hosting its annual awards presentation on Saturday, Sept. 29, at 4 p.m. in the Dunchurch Community Centre. The presentation will be followed by a pot-luck supper and everyone is welcome to attend.
