Relive a part of our history
When one considers Canada’s history, black powder plays a significant role.
Through immersing one’s self in our history, even at a small level, to get a sense of how it may have been, black powder shooting is a natural toward the experience. Should you choose to immerse yourself, even slightly in a part of our history; the Parry Sound Anglers and Hunters (PSAH) are offering offer you the experience. Get a sense by attending an historic firearms demonstration at their range at 41 Brooks Road off Oastler Park Drive, on August 25 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Presenters will be in period costume and spectators will be invited to shoot these historic firearms on their range. There is no charge for this event.
MCA – Big Fish Classic Tournament
McKellar Conservation Association will host this year’s tournament on September 21 and 22.
