Movie Night in Rosseau for this Friday, June 22 has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
Next movie night at the Rosseau Memorial Hall will be on Monday, July 2 with the movie Mirror Mirror. Movie starts at 7 p.m. and cost is only $5 a person or $2.50 with your Seguin Library card or your Lake Rosseau North Association membership card.
On Monday, July 9, come out to see The Hunger Games. Everyone welcome.
Happy birthday wishes to our good friend Judy McKinnon who will celebrate her special day on Sunday, June 24. Have a wonderful day and a happy, healthy year.
Don’t forget that Canada Day celebrations will be held at the community centre in Orrville on Sunday, July 1.

Annual bake sale and pie social
Mark Thursday, July 5 on your calendar for the Maple Lake Club’s annual bake sale and pie social at the Old Swords School, 281 Tally Ho-Swords Rd. on Thursday, July 5 at 7 p.m.
Come for dessert - pie and coffee/ tea. Proceeds help support this heritage building. Don’t miss this great event. Everyone is welcome.
Horseshoe Women’s Club of Humphrey Bake Sale, Odds’n Ends Sale and Summer basket draw starts at. 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 7.
Parking lot of Humphrey School, Highway 141. Come out and support the club, which supports the local community.
Another event to mark on your calendar is the Cottage Country Dinner and Dance, hosted by the Foley Agricultural Society coming up on Saturday, July 14. Dinner runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and dance starts at 8 p.m. to 12 midnight.
Tickets are only $25 a person for dinner and dance or $10 a person for just the dance. Tickets available at Oscar’s Restaurant, Crestview Restaurant, Bearly Used Books or from any Agricultural Society board member.

It won’t be long until the TD Summer Reading program starts at the libraries. Check with your nearest branch to see what day and time during the week your kids can get involved. This year’s theme is “Imagine”.
Get your poster and booklet before they are gone and “Imagine” all the great books you can read this summer!!
Make sure you have Saturday, Aug. 18 marked on your calendar for the Friends of Humphrey Library annual Book, Bake and Yard Sale which will start at 8 a.m. and goes to 3 p.m. and take place in the Gazebo beside the library at 15 Humphrey Dr.
