Annual plant sale in Foley, Saturday

This Saturday, May 19 is the Foley Agricultural Society’s annual plant sale and this year a bake sale also.  Sale starts at 7 a.m. and runs to 11 a.m.  Any donations of plants would be greatly appreciated, please contact Cathy at 705-378-5369 or Terri at 705-378-0374.
Don’t forget that Line Dancing happens every Thursday at the Foley Agricultural Hall starting at 7:30 p.m. and running until 9 p.m.  Cost is only a loonie.  
Everyone is welcome! Please note that there won’t be any line dancing on Thursday, May 31.
And the Seguin Guitar Club continues to meet every Monday evening from 7 – 9 p.m. at the agricultural hall.  Bring your guitar and enthusiasm and have some fun.  Check the society’s website at www.foleyagriculturalsociety.ca  for information, events and programs.
The Sandy Plains Community Church will be holding a bake sale and silent auction on Saturday, May 19 at the Humphrey School parking lot on Highway 141.  Sale starts at 9 a.m. and runs until 1 p.m.  Everyone is welcome.
Humphrey Early Years is having a Tricycle/Bike and Pizza Night at Humphrey Community Centre on Monday, May 28 from 5-7 p.m. Children 0-6 years of age and their families are welcome to come. Bring your tricycle and helmet.  Call Deb at 746-9522 to register.
A tip of the hat to the organizers of the “Woman’s Day” at the Parry Sound Anglers and Hunters shooting range last Saturday!

Next movie night in Rosseau will be Friday, May 25 with the movie Journey 2: the Mysterious Island.  Cost is $5 a ticket or $2.50 if you show your Seguin Library card or Lake Rosseau North Association membership. Coming up on Friday, June 8, come and enjoy A Monster in Paris.  Movies start at 7 p.m. at the Rosseau Memorial Hall.  Everyone is welcome.
