Roundabout, Bell Canada repairs causing traffic delays in Bracebridge

BRACEBRIDGE - Drivers in downtown Bracebridge can expect delays when travelling along Kimberley Avenue near Memorial Park.
Coun. Liam Cragg said crews from Bell Canada are working on a section of the street from Nelson Street to Rene Caisse Lane. The disruptions to traffic are expected to last until at least Saturday, April 28.
“Bell Canada has to do emergency repairs to a main trunk line which services the downtown core,” he said.
At the same time, Drivers on Taylor Road will not be allowed to turn southbound onto Cedar Lane, due to the construction of a new roundabout, from now until May 17.
Instead drivers will have to travel farther westbound and use Pine Street as a detour to access Cedar Lane. Vehicles travelling northbound on Cedar Lane approaching the intersection will also have to use Pine Street to access Taylor Road.
However, addresses on Cedar Lane between Pine Street and Taylor Road will be still be accessible from the section of Cedar Lane located south of the intersection.
