GRAVENHURST - A mid-week blaze sent Gravenhurst firefighters rushing to a mobile home in Kilworthy.
Gravenhurst fire chief Lorne McNeice said fire crews were called to the Big Pine Acres Mobile Home Park on Wednesday morning shortly before lunch to battle a fire that destroyed a third of the structure. He said the homeowners were not injured in the incident.
“In fact there was nobody home,” he said. “They just moved into it a couple of weeks ago.”
After the fire was extinguished, crews remained on scene until around 2 p.m. McNeice said the cause of the fire was undetermined at press time.
