Interim Long-Term Care Beds to Close at Huntsville Hospital

HUNTSVILLE – Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare will be closing the 12 interim long-term care beds at the Huntsville District Memorial Hospital site on March 31, with approval from the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
The beds were functioning on a temporary basis at the Huntsville site since 2001. MAHC’s licence to operate these beds was scheduled to expire in 2015.
