Candy for the kids at the community centre

McKellar News

McKellar Recreation Committee
The McKellar Recreation Committee is seeking some new members to commit only two hours a month to serving the community. We meet once a month and try to develop new and innovative recreational activities in McKellar. We need people who would like to see programs for children, teens, adults and seniors and who have ideas or interests they would like to see come to fruition under their efforts. We need your support; we are in danger of losing this valuable chance to work with McKellar Council in providing a program of recreation that the whole community can benefit from. Please consider stepping up and really making a difference. Call Elaine at 705-389-1761.
Don’t forget to drop in to the McKellar Community Centre (library entrance doors) on Halloween night, October 31, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. where the McKellar Recreation group will be shelling out goodie bags for the kids, and will answer any questions you may have about joining the committee or discuss any suggestions you may have for our consideration. We hope to see you soon.
