Region seeking feedback on recycling program

Is Muskoka’s recycling program any good?
The District Municipality of Muskoka is hoping to find that out with an online survey launched this week. The survey takes roughly five minutes to complete and asks a range of questions regarding the satisfaction level and overall knowledge the survey taker has on the recycling program.
Quinn Michell, public awareness representative with the district, said they want to improve the effectiveness of the current recycling program.
“It’s asking residents if they recycle about the problems they might have with recycling,” said Michell. “If they don’t recycle as much as they can, what can we do to improve the current system? We’re seeking public input on how to improve our recycling program.”
There is currently no cut-off date for when the surveys have to be completed, but organizers say they will likely close it off in three or four weeks depending on how many responses they receive.
“We are looking for feedback from all townships across Muskoka. It’s important that it’s not just from one municipality but from everybody across Muskoka. We want to hear from both seasonal and permanent residents. We’re looking at everybody,” Michell said.
To take the survey visit muskoka.questionpro.com or pick up a hard copy at the District of Muskoka office at 70 Pine St. in Bracebridge.
