Personnel with the Britt and Area Fire Department, Parry Sound EMS and Still River OPP assist an injured woman, with another watching, Monday after the vehicle she was in left the roadway. Parry Sound EMS requested the assistance of the fire department on Monday, July 2  at 1:24 p.m. after a Nissan Rogue rolled over on Highway 69, just south of Britt.  Four Toronto women were in the southbound vehicle when it failed to make a corner and went into a ditch, striking a culvert and rolling over before landing on its side.  All four were wearing seat belts. Two of the women were taken to the West Parry Sound Health Centre by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries. The highway was closed to one lane for about 90 minutes, backing up holiday traffic in both directions. An OPP investigation into the matter continues. The West Parry Sound OPP responded to 163 calls for service over the long weekend.
