Transport vs motorcycle. A transport truck driver walks around the scene of a collision between a big rig and motorcycle that sent the rider, a 63-year-old Kitchener man, to the West Parry Sound Health Centre Monday with non-life-threatening injuries. The West Parry Sound OPP, Britt and Area Fire Rescue and Parry Sound EMS responded to the collision on Highway 69, south of Harris Lake Road, at 3:09 p.m. on June 18 and closed one lane to traffic while police investigated. The transport driver, a 47-year-old man of Kitchener, was charged with following too closely.
