Our weather has been varied, but the card players get there rain or snow. Monday bid euchre gave Hans Haring a count of 311 and Roy Stoddard 287. Rita Nelson won the travel prize. Our coffee break featured tasty egg salad sandwiches donated by Gwen Whillans.
Cribbage on Thursday afternoon was good to Joyce Vaughan with a count of 954 and Mary Tucker 939. Ola Forsyth, for the second week in a row, picked out her favourite table and stayed there all day.
Friday euchre came up with 77 for Glenna Stevenson and 75 shared by Bernice Irvine and Sue Major. Ed English made five lone hands.
Friday night bid euchre didn’t produce even one moonshot, but gave Don Lockhart a score of 302 and Brigitte 275.
Our members express sincere condolences to the Mary Montgomery family. Mary was a treasured member; such an avid card player and supporter.
