Get out and join the Dunchurch Exercise Club

Dunchurch News

Huntsville Forester

Happy New Year everyone, hope you all had as much fun as I did welcoming in the New Year.  We spent and evening with friends and had lots of laughs.  Now as we look forward to the coming year I hope you will be successful with any resolutions you have made.
My goal is to be in better shape so the exercise club will see me there and with the snowfall we’ve had it’s time to get into some snow shoeing and other outdoor fun.  Isn’t winter fun in our part of the country?  They had some snow in the GTA, but it never stays anymore and soon looks dirty and ugly.
I’m hoping for a nice snowing winter with lots of opportunity for outdoor fun, I hope you are too.  Remember to dress warm and to play safe.
The Dunchurch Agricultural Society is holding its annual general meeting on Saturday, Jan. 12 at 5 p.m. in the Dunchurch United Church multi-purpose room.  The meeting will begin with a potluck supper and everyone is welcome to attend.
The Dunchurch Exercise Club is meeting tonight in the Dunchurch Community Centre at 7 p.m.  Come out for a warm up and work out with other hoping to improve health and fitness.  Cost is only $3 per person and it’s a great way to begin the New Year and start working off those extra pounds.
