Police are investigating after residents on Beaumont Drive and Santa’s Village Road reported a series of thefts from cars in the area over the past few weeks.
Officers received a number of calls from residents from both roads along the Muskoka River on the morning of Friday, July 6. Police say that the night before, an unknown number of suspects got away from officers who attempted to pull them over, after police received information on a possible stolen vehicle. The canine unit had been called to assist.
