Huntsville is a great place to live. In large part because of the people, and how we choose to treat each other. Every day as I walk the streets and trails of our community, I see random acts of kindness taking place.
I plan to share some of these genuine moments in the pages of this blog, Thank You Huntsville.
The concept came to me as I was driving to work this morning from my home community of Port Sydney. I need to make a right turn onto the highway and on some mornings, when traffic is at it's peak, the turn is a little tricky.
And sometimes, like this morning, a driver will notice me there waiting to turn, and move over a lane to give me room to make the entry onto the highway safely.
It's a small thing, but when it happens, it makes my day.
So for today, and for the future, thank you Huntsville.

Published once a week on Thursdays, Outtakes features
those photos that don’t quite make it into newspaper or photos of everyday life
in Muskoka. They could be extra shots taken between assignments. Each week
there will be a short description about when, why or how the photo was taken. I
welcome your comments.
