Brian Coldin faces sexual assault charge

COLDIN.
BRACEBRIDGE - Renowned naturist Brian Coldin is heading back to court this week to face a charge of sexual assault.
Coldin was due to appear in Bracebridge court on April 24 to answer the charge, which court staff says was laid sometime in mid-March. Coldin also faces a charge of failing to comply with the terms of his probation.
A judicial pretrial date of May 7 has been set.
His courthouse appearance this week comes three months after Judge Jon-Jo Douglas struck down Coldin’s attempt to challenge Canada’s nudity laws. Coldin was sentenced to two years’ probation and was handed a $3,000 fine on four counts of public nudity, but was found not guilty on a fifth count.
