Former CFL player to give motivational speech at BMLSS

An ex-CFL player is set to lead a special huddle at Bracebridge and Muskoka Lakes Secondary School this month.
On March 28, the Clearbrook Trail high school will play host to former CFL player Keith Castello, who will give a motivational speech designed to educate and inspire young people on the importance of physical activity. The event is the result of a partnership between Back Country Paintball and Sogo Active Canada.
Castello is a former Toronto Argonauts player who shared a Grey Cup victory with teammates Michael “Pinball” Clemens and Matt Dunigan. Before joining the Argonauts in 1989, he played with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
A Toronto native, Castello played several sports in high school, including basketball, soccer and hockey, before finding his passion for football. After a 10-year career in the CFL, Castello now runs his own marketing company. He remains active in working with youths and continues to coach minor football in the Greater Toronto Area.
Admission to the event is free. Organizers are encouraging teens in the area to bring friends along. Attendees are asked to arrive at 5:45 p.m. in the school cafeteria, where the event will begin at 6 p.m. sharp.
For more information, please contact Back Country Paintball owner Tony Armstrong at 705-645-9352.
