Utterson man charged with drunk driving

PARRY SOUND - On January 31 the West Parry Sound OPP were on patrol in the Town of Parry Sound and saw a male on James Street and stopped to investigate.
Police arrested a 25 year old Huntsville man for obstructing police and failure to comply with undertaking. The man was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for Monday.
On January 30 the West Parry Sound OPP were called to a Parry Sound Road residence in the Town of Parry Sound in regarding a complaint.
Police arrested a 27 year old Wasauksing First Nation man for failure to comply with an undertaking.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for Monday.
On January 29  OPP received a call regarding a possible impaired driver on Highway 141 in Seguin Township. Police arrested a 45 year old Utterson man for drive over 80mgs and impaired driving.
He will appear in court on February 18 to answer to the charge.
Also on January 29 the West Parry Sound OPP Snow Patrol Unit were called to a snowmobile trail in Seguin Township in regards to a man’s vehicle stuck on the trail trying to gain access to his cottage. As a result of this call police issued the driver of the BMW a provincial offences notice pertaining to the violation committed under the Public Lands Act.
