Bring back Officer's Notebook

So what has happened to the Officer’s Notebook section of the North Star for the past few weeks?
 This is a long-running feature of the newspaper that I, and many other subscribers, looked forward to reading. In addition to providing the occasional humorous ‘slice of life’ insight into our area, it was also an important source of information concerning police activities beyond our local neighbourhood.
The Officers Notebook is the only forum that I am aware of where our local police force regularly communicates with the general public in terms of their areas of activity.
Given the considerable cost burden placed on us for local policing we should receive regular updates on policing activities in and around Parry Sound.
I hope the North Star and the local police force can arrange to return the Officer’s Notebook to its regular Wednesday slot.
