Canadian champs to guest at the carnival

HUNTSVILLE - Remember the good old days?  Most of you know the ones … where the snow banks were 12 feet high and all shows in town were ‘events?’
The Huntsville Skating Club is bringing back the ‘good-old days style’ carnival.
It will be a huge show.  This is not just a show for the grandparents … this one will boast spectacular style and big-name skaters.
This carnival will have it all.  Star guest skaters with a world-class status, great costumes and a storyline pulled straight from the children’s classic movie!
This year the Huntsville Skating Club is putting on Rio– the Ice Carnival.  It will be a chance for the skaters of all levels to strut their stuff in the company of some pretty fantastic guest skaters, such as junior Canadian champion Gabrielle Daleman and the Canadian pair skaters Violetta Afanasieva and Pete Dack. They will be joining us on April 13, for both shows.  There will be a chance to enjoy most types of skating at this show ranging from singles to pairs, to a demonstration by the Sugar n’ Spice Syncro Team (think Ice Capades).
The Huntsville Youth Choir will also be part of the show to entertain you as well!  Tickets can be purchased for either the 2 to 4 p.m. or the 6 to 8 p.m. shows through the Algonquin Theatre box office.
So come one, come all – this show will wow and amaze you and your whole family!
