Still in limbo on extracurricular activities

MUSKOKA - The hearing continues between two school boards and the elementary teachers union concerning extracurricular activities.
Currently teachers continue to withdraw from extracurricular activities. The Trillium Lakelands and Upper Canada school boards began a hearing with the Ontario Labour Relations Board on Friday, Jan. 25 to determine whether the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario was counseling unlawful strike activity in the matter.
The labour board took a break from the hearing two weeks ago, resuming the hearing on Wednesday, Feb. 6. Tuesday, Feb. 12 was the ninth day of the hearing.
