HUNTSVILLE - The Huntsville Girls Hockey Association is very proud of both its ProActive Rehab Huntsville Sting Peewee B team and its Huntsville Honeys Senior C Ladies team.
This season the ProActive Rehab Huntsville Sting Peewee B team has gone undefeated for the first 11 games of the year. Their record is 10-0-1 thus far in the season. This is a great improvement from the previous year as last year the girls struggled to find wins. The squad is gelling as a team and had a great showing in the Barrie Sharks tournament, nearly missing out on the finals. The girls continue to work on their game and will only become more of a threat in the peewee division as the season keeps going.
The Huntsville Honeys Senior C ladies team has had a lot of new players come aboard for this season. With the pick up of six new ladies to the team, it makes the Honeys a strong and skillful team.
They proved that this past weekend at the Peterborough Ice Kats tournament where they went 3-1 and moved on to the final where they lost 3-1 to the Orillia Hawks ladies team.
This team is still new to each other and as the season gets going they will only continue to get better.
Huntsville Girls Hockey Association is very proud of our teams and wish them all the best with the rest of the season.
