The term ‘death by a thousand cuts’ is now passé.
With Harper and compliant crew back in parliament, the dismantlement of Canada and the death of democracy continue. Death by a thousand lies. Death by secrecy. Death by dictatorial fiat while Canadians remain disengaged, uninformed, deep in snoozer hood.
Our guy in Parry Sound-Muskoka, Clement, keeps smiling for photo-ops while mailing out misleading flyers to appear to be representing constituents’ interests.
Harper seems annoyed that Opposition Leader Thomas Mulcair deems the Harper program of governing a web of “lies.” Do you know who Thomas Mulcair is? He actually cares! He cares about your children, your air, your water, your democracy, your planet. He cares about process. Truth.
Harper has taken on an air of infallibility. This term refers to supreme beings above law, above reproach, incapable to wrong.
I contend the Harper-dismantlement of democracy will pervert my hope of a better world in perpetuity unless informed individuals take responsibility for their inaction. We are at the crossroads of existence!
