Calendar to raise funds.
It was a tough job, but someone had to cover the smokin' hot calendar-signing fundraiser Saturday at the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts. All calendar sales will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. The 2006 calendar was dedicated to the firefighters' biggest fan, Rachel Higgins, who passed away in August from a rare brain tumour. The Parry Sound stop netted the highest number of calendar sales so far in the tour. At the time of publication, 345 calendars had been sold at a cost of $20 each.
