• The Huntsville Community Choir and friends present You don’t have to be Irish St. Patrick’s Day at the Algonquin Theatre at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available at the Algonquin Theatre box office.
• There will be an Amnesty International Muskoka Chapter meeting at Trinity United Church in the Hearth Room from 3 to 5 p.m. Hear about current human rights cases and Amnesty’s successes in getting prisoners of conscience released. And if you wish, write or sign letters appealing to governments. Refreshments served. Free. Everyone welcome.
• Bid euchre at Chaffey Hall from 1 to 4 p.m. The event costs $5 and includes dessert and coffee. It is hosted by the Lioness Club of Huntsville.

• The Huntsville Horticultural Society will hold its first meeting of the year at 7:30 p.m. at Sutherland Hall, on High Street. The Muskoka- Parry Sound Master Gardeners will be speaking about seed starting and spring garden cleanup. All are welcome. Contact Edie at 789-2353 for more information.

• There will be a beef dinner at Aspdin Community Centre at 4:30 and 6 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults ($14 in advance). Proceeds will go to St.Mary’s Anglican Church in Aspdin and Aspdin Community Centre. For more information call 789-2114 or 789-4022.
• Muskoka Nights Cruise-in is hosting a dance at the Huntsville Legion at 9 p .m.
Proceeds will go to the Aspen Valley Wildlife Sanctuary and items for the Huntsville Animal Shelter will also be accepted. Tickets are $12. Call Mardi at 789-3135 for more information.
