Baseball tourney raises over
Rachel Higgins left behind a legacy of courage when she passed away last summer following her lengthy battle with a rare form of brain cancer.
This past weekend 32 teams participated in the Third Annual Rallying Against Cancer Hardcore 3-Pitch Tournament. The event, that began in Rachel’s honour, continues today in the memory of a determined and spirited young woman.
The two-day event raised over $60,000, all of which will go to support brain tumour research at the Princess Margaret Hospital in Toronto.
