Chefs and breweries join forces for Flavours of Muskoka

MUSKOKA - The 12th annual Flavours of Muskoka will take place on June 28 at The Rosseau, a JW Marriott Resort and Spa in Minett. Twenty of Muskoka’s best chefs will come together with wineries and breweries from around the world at this area’s premier culinary event and Muskoka Chautauqua’s main fundraiser for Kaleidoscope Arts in Education Programs.
Kaleidoscope gives children and teachers in Muskoka schools the opportunity to work closely with professional artists, exploring music, visual arts, drama, writing and mixed media. These artistic workshops are integrated into the core curriculum, making learning more relevant and meaningful to students, resulting in a higher level of engagement.
Kaleidoscope’s summer programming includes its Children’s Festival on June 30 and summer art, music and drama camps, starting July 9. A special feature this summer is the new Showtime camp, running July 23 to 27, with Cirque du Soleil choreographer Debra Brown.
The Flavours of Muskoka evening also features live music and a popular silent auction. Items this year include a kayak, a fly-and-dine experience, golf packages, antique wooden boat tours, artwork by local artists and more.
Flavours of Muskoka will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Rosseau. Tickets are $75 and are available online at flavoursofmuskoka.ca or by calling Muskoka Chautauqua at 705-765-1048.
